Cervical cancer vaccines could be heading to India. GlaxoSmithKline and Merck are to work with groups such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, reports CNBC-TV18.
The foundation is to bring the vaccines to developing countries, over the next five years.
The project comes with the help of a grant worth USD 28 million from the foundation. Both Glaxo and Merck are expected to have approved vaccines available.
