GREAT FALLS Four years without a haircut gave eleven-year-old Molly Crum of Great Falls a nice ponytail. Now it will be used for a wig, to help a cancer patient who’s lost hair to chemotherapy.
Molly knows what it’s like to go through cancer treatment. At the age of just six, she was treated for thyroid cancer.
Yesterday, a hairdresser cut off Molly’s ten-inch, brown ponytail, so the hair can be donated through a Florida-based program called Locks of Love. Molly had let her hair grow, for that purpose.
