The findings appear in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

The research was conducted mainly in China and it’s unclear if the results are different in western countries because of dietary habits.

Hamilton, 55, has undergone a “seven-week course of radiation treatment for throat cancer,” the band’s publicist Marcee Rondan said Thursday.
